Miss Universe 2008: The Prize

Miss Universe is one of the most prestigious beauty pageants in the world. No wonder, the winner will receive lots of gifts. Here is the list:

• Miss Universe 2008 will be awarded with a tiara created by CAO Fine Jewelry (a division of PNJ). The price of the tiara is $30,000. It is designed by Kim Lien and famous Vietnamese jewelry designer, Rosalina Lydster.

• Twelve month salary as Miss Universe.

• A shoe wardrobe from Nina Footwear.

• Farouk Systems will provide hair care products and tools for one year.

• Swimsuit wardrobe created by BSC Swimwear Thailand.

• Miss Universe 2008 will live in an apartment in New York city apartment for one year. The organization will bear the living expenses.

• The winner will receive a trophy from Rogaska Crystal.

• Personal appearance wardrobe and one year membership to Gravity Fitness and one year long hair service from John Barnett Salon.

• A modeling portfolio created by leading New York City fashion photographer Fadil Berisha.

• Casting opportunities and professional representation by the Miss Universe organization.

• Traveling is a part and parcel of Miss Universe 2008. The winner will also have a personal travel manager who will represent her to the sponsors and charitable partners.

• Miss Universe 2008 will have access to movie premiers, screenings, Broadway shows, launch parties and various other prestigious events around New York City.

• Consultation with Billie Causieestko, famous stylist.

• An event wardrobe created by top fashion designers.

• Miss Universe 2008 will receive public relations media training and professional public relations representations by Rubenstein Public Relations and Planet PR.

• One year worth of dermatology and skin services by Dr. Cheryl Thellman-Karcher.

Prizes for the runner ups:

• The 1^st runner up will receive $3000 cash award and crystal trophy from Rogaska.

• The 2^nd runner up will receive $2000 cash award and a crystal trophy from Rogaska

• The 3^rd runner up will receive $1000 cash award and crystal trophy from Rogaska.

• The 4^th runner up will receive $1,000 cash award and crystal trophy from Rogaska.

Prizes for 10 Semi-finalists:
Ten semi-finalists will receive cash award worth $500 and a crystal trophy from Rogaska.

Miss Congeniality Universe Award:
The 80 contestants will vote amongst themselves for the Miss Congeniality Universe Award and the winner will receive cash award worth $1000 and a crystal trophy from Rogaska.

Prize for the National Costume winner:
Winner of National Costume Award will receive $1000 cash prize, a crystal trophy from Rogaska. The winner will be selected based on online poll conduced by NBC.
