Professional Beach Volleyball player, Misty May-Treanor, sustained injury on Friday which might stop her from further participating in the reality dance competition show, ‘Dancing With the Stars.’ On October 3, 2008, Misty May-Treanor sustained an injury which immediately required medical attention.
In a statement released by ABC it is said that Dancing With the Stars contestant Misty May-Treanor sustained an injury but she did not break her ankle. The Olympic gold medal winner is now at rest. Physicians will re-evaluate her condition on Monday and determine whether she would be able to participate in the show. News reports confirmed that she injured her Achilles.
Pre-injury, Misty May-Treanor and her partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, were one of the most promising contestants in the season 7, reality dance competition show Dancing With the Stars.
