Britney Spears signed deal with AEG for world tour

It looks like Britney Spears is getting serious about her life and career again. Earlier, I wrote about her decision to go on an international tour on her latest album, Circus, in 2009. In the beginning, it was not sure whether she would go or not but now, things have become serious. The 26 year old singer, who will turn 27 on December 2, 2008, signed a deal with AEG, a reputed international tour organizer. Britney Spears last went out on an international tour in 2004.

Britney Spears first revealed her tour plan in an interview on Z100, a New York based radio station. At that time, Gina Orr, Britney Spears’ spokesperson said that nothing had been confirmed yet.

Things are looking good so far for the singer. The single of her latest album, ‘Womanizer,’ was released on September 26, 2008 has received seven million hits within 48 hours. After it was uploaded on You Tube, the video was watched by millions of people. It is an amazing success for Britney Spears. Britney Spears even stopped drinking alcohol to get in shape. Britney Spears’ mother, Lynne Spears confirmed the news of her daughter’s international tour last month. The way things are going, it looks like 'Circus' is going to become Britney Spears’ come back album.
