Ben Stiller's Tropic Thunder is ruling the box office for the second week

Hollywood’s comedy actor Ben Stiller is giving the finishing touch of Summer 2008. The actor’s latest movie, Tropic Thunder, is ruling the box office for the second consecutive week earning $16.1 million in ticket sales. Till now, the movie’s overall earning stands at $65.7 million. The campus comedy of Anna Faris, The House Bunny, is at the second spot grossing $15.1 million. Death Race starring Jason Statham opened at the third position collecting $ 12.4 million.

The summer champion, The Dark Knight collected $489. 2 million in six weeks but it failed to make any new record. The movie earned another $10.3 million earning the forth spot at the box office.

Tropic Thunder, which is an action comedy starring Ben Stiller, Jack Black and Robert Downey Jr., tells the story of four prima donna actors who were starring in a Vietnam War movie. Being tired of their attitude, the fed-up director leaves them in a jungle which is actually occupied by a drug producing gang.
