In her memoir, Lynne Spears, Britney Spears’ mother denied the allegation of being a “pushy mother.” 53 years old Lynne Spears said that every mother made mistakes and also did but she has no regrets regarding her daughters’ carrier.
The memoir titled, "Through the Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World," was published by Thomas Nelson, a Christian publisher, who publishes Bibles and other inspirational books.
In an interview with the People Magazine, Lynne Spears said:
"I think you have to let them follow their dreams. I think it would be worse in the end if you didn't,"
The memoir which tells the story of the Spears family during the phenomenal rise of Britney Spears and their problems was supposed to be released in May but postponed after news of Jamie Lynn Spears’ pregnancy came out.
Lynne Spears said that she did not have any huge ambitions for Britney. She expressed her dissatisfaction over the way she was presented in the media as a mother who gains from her daughter.
