Jenna Fischer is going to adopt nine cats

Jenna Fischer, the shy but intelligent receptionist of The Office, is a cat lover. While studying in college, she saved a black-and-white cat, Andy, from one of her friend’s apartment complex. Even today, Andy is her most favorite cat. She even worked at a kitty crisis line for one year. Jenna says:

"That was like being a social worker for cats. You feel totally responsible when someone calls about an abandoned kitten,

To express her love for these furry animals, Jenna Fischer, fostered nine cats for a non-profit organization in Los Angeles named Kitten Rescue. One of these nine cats includes Honey Bear, a 25-lb cat with “hiding issues.”

Fischer is also going to host a fundraiser, "Fur Ball at the Skirball" for Kitten Rescue. The show is going to be held on September 14, 2008 at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles. In the show, Angela Kinsey, another famous cat lover, will show various procedures to groom cats.
